Don't you understand that it all done to make you pay REAL money? The cost of linving is the same...sooner or later if you want to play you have to pay...
Yes, you are right. Other question to the gamemasters: My new sponsor offers me about 160$ per week. Should this be serious? I have living costs from over 1,8 million per week!? I know that I haven't succes in the last year, because I haven't played a match, but with three Grand-Slam-titles and 75 weeks as number one, I expect a better contract as that!
I think that living cost would be influenced by money earned per week by the sponsor.... for example... make $250.000 per week as standart... so: sqrt($250.000)=$500 for example actually I have a living cost of $500.000 so... If: (actual living cost=$500.000) (base cost=$500.000/20=$25.000) -my sponsor pays me $250.000: LIVING COST=$500.000*sqrt($250.000)/$500+$25.000 LIVING COST=$525.000 -my sponsor pays me $1.000.000: LIVING COST=$500.000*sqrt($1.000.000)/$500+$25.000 LIVING COST=$1.025.000 -my sponsor pays me $10.000: LIVING COST=$500.000*sqrt($100)/$500+$25.000 LIVING COST=$125.000 -my sponsor pays me $0: LIVING COST=$500.000*sqrt($0)/$500+$25.000 LIVING COST=$25.000 a difference... PD: and with the sponsor.... is the same for all...
@Daniel Mecke hello GB: is the cost of living also adapted? DE: werden die lebenskosten auch an die sponsorwochengelder angepasst? mfg
Term of the contract: 1 seasons Basic amount (per week): 13$ Win of an ATP tournament: 135.156$ Win of a Challenger: 6.159$ Win of a Future: 4.790$ Win of a Trainee-Tournament: 842$ Win of a national Championchip: 57.733$ i won't get anything if i win an entry, and i only play entries btw!!!! this is so unfair for the less good players!!!! i have living costs per week of 170 $!!!!! why is everything here always good for the players with good rankings and with a lot of money?
mm.. but I won a tournament, I won 50k with the prize money... and some players have much higher living costs than me, so even winning atp titles wouldn't let you to keep your money?
I totally agree with philipp. I mean how are we supposed to pay our rent for our own staff like cars, houses and so on. Either you have to cut those rents to a decent prize level or you add an option that allows me to sell all of it again. btw the weekly sponsor payment is hillarious... 130$. I mean seriously, u always wanted to make onlinetennis as close as possible to our reality. Well, then go ahead and raise those offers quite a bit so that they are acceptable.
I want to fit your wishes a bit and changed the calculation of the base money in the sponsor contracts again. I do not want to betray you exactly how it works, but the money is higher than before (except you had a bad week of course). About the costs of living I have to say that this depends on the amount of cash money you have + the amount of money in your stock is relevant for the calculation. As a good example Philipp has 1.8 million of cost of living because of his 60 million dollar cash money and the fact that he has not even a 1 star manager. He could lower it down to 300 thousand by using a manager.
I dont think that the sponsor offer have to be relative to this season...i think the last season + this season is the best way to make a "exact" sponsor offer.... And i agree with karsten...if we need more money we could sell the house, the car, etc....thats was a good idea...if you want to reduce the "sponsor"... Good work along this seasons...
so is there going to be another reset of the sponsor contracts? i hope so for all those who already accepted one before they got changed again. Thanks Daniel
is ist normal that top 4000 players get offers from sponsers where they earn over 2400 dollar a week?
Yeah, but I haven't got any chance to keep my money and this is the problem...with this system you force players to buy OT-Dollars or a supporter-account. On the other way, all players lose their money till the end of this season. Like Karsten said, you should make it possible to sold the statussymbols like cars, houses and so on, because I through out a lot of money for this things which i could need now.
